The base LX trim comes to Manassas drivers equipped with a host of performance, tech, and comfort features. The LX is powered by a 2.4-liter inline-4 engine that manages 185 horsepower and 178 foot-pounds of torque. This base engine works with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Alexandria drivers can also enjoy Drive Mode Select, which allows drivers to choose between comfort, eco, and spot drive modes. Moving to the inside of the LX, drivers can look forward to a modernly outfitted interior. Starting with tech, the LX helps ensure that Chantilly drivers stay connected while on the go thanks to an eight-inch touch screen infotainment display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, and Bluetooth functionality. Additional tech features include USB/auxiliary inputs, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, a six-speaker audio system, and a 3.5-inch driver information display. Standard comfort features include air conditioning, a six-way passenger seat, an eight-way driver's seat, cloth seat trim (with CleanTex), and a folding rear center armrest with cup holders. Possibly the most notable standard equipment is the Kia Drive Wise driver assistance technology package. All new Kia Optima models come standard with the Kia Drive Wise suite, which touts nine driver assistance features. Kia Drive Wise includes blind spot collision warning, driver attention warning, forward collision warning, forward collision-avoidance assistance with pedestrian detection, lane change assist, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist-line, parking distance warning (reverse), and rear cross traffic collision warning. Of course, Chantilly drivers can enjoy more than just driver assistance safety features. The Kia optima also comes standard with airbags, seatbelts for all seating positions, electronic stability control, hill start assist control, rear child-safety door locks, vehicle stability management, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
