The new Kia Forte steps things up with the introduction of a new engine, some new trim options, and a dashingly sporty design.

The Details - What's new to the 2020 Kia Forte

It's a sedan - sure, but it's not your average sedan. Sporting seating for up to five passengers, the 2020 Kia Forte expands on the sporty inspiration to create a vehicle that blurs the line between classic and sporty.

New Powertrain, Same Kia Reliability

With the introduction of an all-new 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine, the Kia Forte jumps from casual cruiser to seriously capable lane-changer. Indeed, the GT and GT M/T trims come standard with the 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that goes hand-in-hand with increased performance features.

The 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine touts 201 horsepower and 195 foot-pounds of torque. Additional features that come equipped with the GT trim includes a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (with paddle shifters), and a host of driver assistance features. Woodbridge drivers looking for a manual iteration of the GT can opt for the top of the line GT M/T trim that boasts a six-speed manual transmission.

Driver Assistance Features - Kia Drive Wise

Regardless of the trim chosen, Alexandria and Chantilly drivers can enjoy a standard bundle of driver assistance features. The Kia Drive Wise suite of driver assistance features can help boost driver confidence thanks to the following technology:

  • Driver attention warning
  • Forward collision warning
  • Forward collision-avoidance assist
  • Lane departure warning
  • Lane keeping assist-line
